Buffalo Grove, Ill. (March 10, 2006) - Gregg M. Steinberg, President of International Profit Associates and Integrated Business Analysis (IPA-IBA), based in Buffalo Grove, Ill., has been elected as a member of the executive committee for the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS).

As a member of the Executive Committee, Steinberg is dedicated to ensuring that the national activities of ACWIS efforts fully support the current and future research efforts of the Weizmann Institute, based in Rehevot, Israel. These efforts cover base sciences and discoveries that benefit mankind.

Steinberg joined International Profit Associates in 1992 and became its Chief Financial Officer in 1995. He has been President since 1997. Civically, he has been a board member of the Jewish Community Centers of Chicago and a past board member and Chairman for various committees of the Jewish Council for Youth Services. Currently, he is a member of Aspen Institute’s Middle East Strategy Group, a member of the Midwest board of Operation Hope, a leader in financial literacy programs, Midwest chair for the American Committee for the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science and involved in a leadership role with the Suburban Human Relations Commission.

The American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS), founded in 1944, develops philanthropic support for the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, one of the world's premier scientific research institutions.
