Buffalo Grove, Ill. (September 18, 2008) - IPA and IPA’s Business Today magazine announced winners today for its 1st Annual Illinois Family Business of the Year Award, which recognize superior small and medium-size business in North America. This year’s grand prize winner will be honored at an upcoming celebration of success on Saturday, December 13, at The Hyatt Hotel in Chicago.

The 2008 IPA’s Business of the Year Awardees:

1. Grand prize winner: Cajun Concrete Services of Boutte, La.
2. Ronning Landscaping of Mesa, Ariz.
3. Echo Valley Meats of Bartonville, Ill.
4. Expert Drywall Systems of Campbell, Calif.

This year’s awards drew more than 250 nominations. The awards were presented to exemplary businesses with strong commitments to innovative business practices and strategies, outstanding workmanship, professional growth and advancement opportunities, employee retention, teamwork and community involvement.
