IPA Director of Business Coordination Joins Chicagoland Business Leadership Network

Buffalo Grove, Ill. (January 8, 2008) - Tony Jones, IPA Director of Business Coordination, recently became a member of the Chicagoland Business Leadership Network (CBLN).

The CBLN is a business-to-business consortium allowing members to network, gain best practices and get information regarding recruiting, hiring and retaining qualified workers with disabilities. The organization’s mission is to allow employers to understand and benefit from people with disabilities in both labor and consumer markets. CBLN’s vision is to become Chicagoland’s number one resource for businesses wanting to benefit from hiring those with disabilities.

Regarding membership, the CBLN is open to Chicagoland businesses who employ or are interested in employing qualified individuals with disabilities. Representatives of for-profit businesses are invited to join. However, CBLN nonprofit exceptions include: Chambers of Commerce, healthcare institutions and educational attractions (i.e., zoos and museums) engaged or interested in hiring those with disabilities.

Jones has been with IPA for 13 years and has served in various roles such as Business Coordinator, Business Coordination Floor Manager and Trainer, Director of The Field Sales Program, Director of Inside Sales and Director of the Trade Show Division. He has approximately 13 years of business management experience and possesses extensive knowledge in employee development and recruitment. Jones served the United States Navy on board the USS America CV66 in Desert Storm and Operation Somalia. Additionally, his background includes memberships in the following organizations: Global Register’s Who’s Who, Sterling’s Who’s Who and Illinois Veteran’s Advisory.
