IPA Charities Donates to the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business

Buffalo Grove, Ill. (April 26, 2007) - IPA Charities recently donated $10,000 to the University of Rochester in support of the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration. The unrestricted contribution will be used by the graduate business council to further the school’s mission.

The Simon School Annual Fund is the centralized contribution collection for the business school. The Graduate Business Council maintains the funds and allocates accordingly to provide the most benefit to the welfare of the school, its students, faculty and the surrounding community. For example, contributions made for the 2005-2006 academic year helped to expand student recruitment opportunities and sponsor a team of students to participate in the acclaimed Thunderbird Innovation Challenge.

The University of Rochester established its graduate school in 1964 and changed the name to The William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (Simon Graduate School) in 1986. It offers full-time, part-time and executive MBA programs, doctoral programs, graduate certificate programs and Masters in Science programs to meet the various needs of prospective students. It has been nationally recognized for its high quality academia, interactive, real-word learning curriculum and diverse, cultural faculty and student body.
