Buffalo Grove, Ill. (July 23, 2007) - IPA Managing Director John Burgess was recently invited to become a member of the Republican National Committee (RNC).
RNC life membership is reserved for those who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the principles of the Republican Party and sustained support for the RNC’s mission of electing Republicans at all levels of government. The exclusive character of RNC life membership is reflected in the fact that only a handful of Americans every year qualify to join. The names of all life members are inscribed on the bronze roll of honor displayed in the national headquarters of the Republican Party in Washington, D.C.
Membership is by invitation only. The program was originally established in 1978 to recognize the dedicated men and women who have generously supported the Republican Party throughout a lifetime. The experience, vision and leadership of the members are the backbone of the organization.
John Burgess is the key founder and managing director of IPA. Prior to founding IPA, Burgess was a commodities trader with the Chicago Board of Trade, practiced law and was an executive with a management consulting firm. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Roger Williams College in Providence, Rhode Island and a Juris Doctor from the New England College of Law in Boston.
