IPA Charities Contribute to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Buffalo Grove, Ill. (February 9, 2007) - IPA Charities, the charitable foundation of IPA, contributed $4,000 to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in support of the Risa K. Lambert Luncheon.

"The financial support clearly demonstrates the dedication to the vital mission of this institution— working to ensure that all generations, now and in the future, learn the timely and urgent lessons of the Holocaust," said Gail Ferris, Director of Development Systems of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

"The important and necessary message that continues to be received by all that visit the museum, "never again," must be delivered even today not just as it relates specifically to the Jewish community, but also to our global community at large which still needlessly is confronted by genocide and racial cleansing," said Gregg Steinberg, President of IPA. "It is our hope that we can affect, in a small way, the betterment of humanity."

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum honors the memory of the victims by teaching their story to each new generation; and stimulating citizens and leaders to confront hatred and antisemitism; prevent genocide; promote human dignity; and strengthen democracy. Through a public/private partnership, federal support guarantees the Museum’s permanence and donors nationwide make possible its educational activities and global outreach.
