Buffalo Grove, Ill. (February 12, 2009) - IPA has been named a member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce for 2009.
The Chicagoland Chamber serves as the unified business voice of greater Chicago, aggressively representing business interests at the city, county, regional and state levels.
"Each initiative we undertake is an action-oriented, forward-thinking program to improve our economic competitiveness, to add value to your business or to protect your bottom line," said Gerald J. Roper, President and CEO.
The Chicagoland Chamber’s mission is twofold: (1) enhance members’ successes through aggressive programs of advocacy, member benefits and services and actionable information, and (2) make Chicagoland the most business-friendly region in America.
Through its collaborative efforts with government, labor and other civic and business organizations, the Chicagoland Chamber strives to make Chicagoland a vital center of commerce known for the quality of its workforce, successful businesses and lifestyle. For the organization’s 2,600 members, that translates into impactful, bottom-line programs that help their businesses be successful and grow.
Most of the Chicagoland Chamber’s efforts focus on five issue areas that affect the business community:
