Buffalo Grove, Ill. (June 2, 2006) - IPA President Gregg Steinberg attended ACCESS 2006 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Small Business Summit and was a panelist during the closing plenary session, "Insights from the Brain Trust" on May 12.
More than 500 small business owners attended the Chamber's biannual ACCESS small business summit last month in Washington, D.C. ACCESS 2006 energized and educated small business owners through thought-provoking sessions on leadership, politics and tools for success.
During the plenary session, "Insights from the Brain Trust," small business experts and leaders, including Steinberg, discussed key trends and new strategies employed by successful entrepreneurs. Jim Blasingame, creator and award-winning host of the Small Business Advocate Show, the world’s only weekday talk show dedicated to small business moderated the session which highlighted trends in capital markets, manufacturing, customer service and ensuring long term success. More than 300 of the attendees visited Capitol Hill on May 11 to weigh in with their members of Congress on issues vital to small business at this crucial juncture. Many met their elected officials for the first time and helped to establish a line of grassroots communication that will be am added voice for small business concerns in the future.
