IPA Charities Supports American Cancer Society Event

Buffalo Grove, Ill. (April 25, 2008) - IPA Charities has donated $25,000 to the American Cancer Society’s Discovery Ball 2008.

"IPA Charities supports the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health concern; therefore, we have proudly contributed to the society’s Discovery Ball 2008," said Dana Burgess, President of IPA Charities.

Proceeds from the Discovery Ball will aid in supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer. Contributions will also enable the organization to continue funding cancer research, to educate Americans about their opportunity for early detection and prevention of cancer, to advocate for strong and effective public policy related to cancer and to provide patient services once an individual is diagnosed with cancer.

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer has a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. With more than two million volunteers nationwide, the American Cancer Society is one of the oldest and largest voluntary health agencies in the United States.
